"Nothing beats the convenience of an
Electric Roller Garage Door
– making your life easier, every day.
At Ace Garage Doors, we take pride in delivering fast, efficient service, top-quality workmanship, and the best prices on garage doors in Sydney."
If you’re after a long-lasting, hassle-free, and cost-effective garage door solution, a Roller Garage Door is the way to go.
Designed to maximise space, roller doors take up minimal room in your garage—making them ideal if you want to utilise ceiling or wall space for storage. With fewer moving parts than other styles, they’re the most durable option on the market, built to last for years with minimal maintenance.
They're also perfect for sheds or standalone structures without a garage.
Think you don’t have enough headroom?
Ask us about our exclusive Mini Rolls, which take up about half the space of a standard roller door.
Available in all standard Colorbond® colours, with or without a locking mechanism, our roller doors are built for security and style.
At Ace Garage Doors, we’re experts in garage door motors, new installations, and repairs

Residential Garage Door Repairs
Common faults include broken springs, frayed or snapped cables, doors off track, worn rollers, damaged panels, faulty motors, remote-control problems, sensor faults and noisy or unreliable operation.
A crooked or unsupported door can be dangerous. Stop using it if a spring or cable has broken, the door has left the track or it could fall. Do not keep pressing the remote in the hope that the motor will force a damaged door closed.
Ace checks the whole system because the visible symptom is not always the cause. A motor that strains may be reacting to poor balance or damaged hardware.
Strata and Shared Garage Entries
Shared garage entries need clear communication because one fault can affect many residents. Ace can inspect automatic doors and related controls, identify the failed component and explain the repair or replacement required.
For strata work, provide the site contact, access instructions, symptoms, door or motor details if known, and any times when inspection would disrupt residents least. Written quotes and job details can then be supplied for approval and records.
High-cycle shared doors should be assessed with their daily use in mind. A residential-grade component may not be appropriate for a system that operates repeatedly throughout the day.

Commercial Roller Doors and Motors
Ace also works with roller doors and motor systems at suitable commercial premises. The inspection considers the size and weight of the door, frequency of use, access, security and the availability of compatible parts.
If the door secures a business or shared car park, tell Scott whether it is stuck open, stuck closed or operating intermittently. That helps establish the immediate risk and the information needed before attendance.
Repair or Replacement Advice
Repair is often worthwhile when the door remains structurally sound and the problem is isolated. Replacement becomes more practical when damage is extensive, major components are obsolete, the system is repeatedly unreliable or it no longer suits the required use.
For motors, Ace checks compatibility, door balance, parts availability, safety functions and the likely cost of repair. See garage door motors and openers for a clearer comparison of faults, drive types and replacement decisions.
If a complete new door is being considered, the
garage door prices guide explains typical ranges and what changes the final quote.

What Happens Next
Call with the site address, door type, symptoms and access details. For a strata or commercial site, nominate the person authorised to approve work.
Scott inspects the system, explains the cause and provides the quote. Once approved, the repair or installation is completed and the door is tested. Any controls or manual-release procedure relevant to the job are explained before completion.

Information That Helps an Urgent Call
Tell Scott whether the door is stuck open, closed or part-way, whether vehicles are trapped, and whether the opening is unsecured. For a shared building, explain how many residents are affected and whether another entry is available.
A photo of the door, opener label, control panel or visible damage can help identify the system before attendance. Do not remove covers or touch springs, cables or an unsupported door to obtain a better photo.
Maintenance for Frequently Used Doors
A frequently used shared or commercial door deserves more attention than a lightly used residential garage. Changes in noise, speed, balance or closing behaviour should be investigated before the entry fails completely.
Servicing can include inspection of moving hardware, fixings, cables, springs or counterbalance components, tracks, motor operation, limits, controls and safety functions as applicable to the system. The sensible interval depends on the door and its actual cycle count rather than the suburb alone.
Chatswood and the Wider North Shore
Ace services Chatswood and other North Shore areas, including St Ives, Gordon, Turramurra, Pymble and Wahroonga. If your suburb is nearby but not listed, call Scott with the address and type of work required.
